Psycological Therapy
Below are some ideas of difficulties that might mean that you need or would like some additional support in the form of psychological therapy. There are various different therapeutic models, all of which can be used alongside the therapeutic relationship to bring about change, growth and rest.
Managing tricky adjustments and change
Life is full of transition and change and sometimes these experiences can be difficult to adjust to. At these times, it can help us to have someone on the outside of these experiences that can support us with making sense and finding clarity
Struggling with relationships
Relationships can sometimes be difficult to manage. We might find ourselves feeling unsure about them, or feeling uncertain about navigating changes in them as we grow and change, and life events shape us differently. Having a space, either on our own or together, can help us to think through how we are feeling and what might best support us to move forward.
Battling with anxiety
Our minds can sometimes be our own worst enemies in their attempts to protect us.
This can look like anxiety or persistent worries about many different areas in our lives, which can be hard to escape from. Therapy can help us understand these worries and find ways to put them down so that we can feel more in control of our lives
How many sessions will I need?
This is a tricky one as there is no one answer. Some people find that 2-3 sessions can feel like enough, and others prefer to stay in longer-term work, depending on why they have come to the space.
Typically, interventions run for 10-36 sessions.
When we meet, we can think together about your needs and what might best fit for you.
Prices
Fees are £120 inclusive for a 50-minute session.
This includes treatment planning and preparation, our intervention together and any brief email or telephone contact between sessions.
