Dr Sarah Clark is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who has a special interest in working with children, adolescents and young adults with Anxiety difficulties and their parents/families.  She is warm and engaging in her therapeutic style and is very approachable.

Sarah offers therapy for a range of Anxiety difficulties including:
•    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
•    Separation Anxiety
•    Panic
•    Specific Phobias
•    Social Anxiety
•    Health Anxiety  
•    Generalised Anxiety (GAD)  

She is also experienced at working with young people who have low self-esteem, low mood and school refusal.
As a Clinical Psychologist, Sarah uses a range of psychological models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Therapy.  Sarah is also an accredited CBT Therapist and is able to offer specialist CBT.

Training & Experience

Sarah holds a 1st class (Hons) degree in Psychology from York University and completed her Clinical Psychology Doctorate at the University of East Anglia in 2005.  In 2010, Sarah also completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Therapy at Oxford University.

Sarah has over 10 years of experience working within the NHS.  She has been actively involved in clinical psychology research, with particular involvement in projects investigating OCD in young people. Most recently, Sarah has worked as a Clinical Tutor on the Clinical Psychology Doctoral training programme at UEA.

Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS); Division of Clinical Psychology.
Accredited CBT Therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

Sarah is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, ensuring that she gives a confidential service that adheres to the Data Protection Act.
