Restorative Yoga

A deeply de-stressing soothing practice for the body and soul.  Floor based, relatively simple postures where the body is completely supported, are held between 5-15 minutes.

As the body senses it is safe, over time and with patience the nervous system starts to balance itself out and a quiet space within is cultivated.

Suitable for all.

About your teacher: 

Birgitte Hendricks


After 15 years of a very dedicated yoga practice, touching base with a vast amount of various yoga styles both in The US and England I decided in 2013 to embark on BWY-500 hours, Diploma Level 4 Teacher Training. Graduating September 2016 I am currently a student teacher mentored by Paul Fox and Carol Price. 

I’m a certified 'Relax and Renew’ restorative yoga teacher under the guidance of Judith Hanson Lasater. An intensive course with Paul Grilley and workshops with Sarah Powers, Andrea Kwaitkowski and Julia Thornton deepened my love and knowledge for Yin yoga. 

I teach a slow Hatha yoga, yin yoga and restorative yoga. All my classes have a strong emphasis on the body and mind connection where the breath is used consciously as a tool to possibly release tension.
