There are many different styles of teaching yoga, but they all focus on the same postures (asanas) of which there are thousands so you’ll never get bored! The main benefits are strength & tone, increased flexibility, less stress and more energy .....everyone fancies that!
Our Beginners 8 week course is perfect for introducing you to all styles and postures, but there are other classes that welcome beginners.
Hatha Yoga has a more gentle relaxing pace and covers postures, breathing and relaxation.
Some classes focus much more on the alignment and precision in a posture, whilst Vinyasa has a more flowing and casual style using the Salute to the Sun as a basis for the sequences of poses, occasionally with music.
Hot Yoga is very different as the studio reaches 35+ degrees and the focus is more on releasing tight muscles and detoxing the body. We also offer yoga classes for pregnancy, mums and babies, children and in schools and offices.
In fact, we try and offer a style of yoga to suit everyone and if you are not sure....just ask!
